Dr. Joshua Ramos was born in Boise, Idaho, but has lived in DFW for most of his life. While he knew he always wanted to be a part of the medical field, he also had a strong love for music, with a focus on concert violin and contemporary vocal performance. It was during his time as a musician and vocalist at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts that he decided to pursue a career in medicine while still being involved with the arts. He received a Bachelor Of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Arlington, followed by a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas State University.

During his time as a physical therapist, Josh has worked with various diagnoses in both orthopedic and neurological realms, ranging from ACL reconstruction and shoulder impingement to cerebral palsy and stroke.

Josh is a firm believer that every patient is more than their diagnosis and takes the time to understand the requirements and demands for each patient to create functional and creative plans to help them reach their goals. His goal is to create a space for artists of all mediums to have a place to receive care from professionals who understand the stresses that the arts can put on the body, both mentally and physically, in order for them to reach all their goals on and off the stage.
