Who We Are Looking For

Licensed Clinicians Who Take Performing Artists Seriously

Bravo is not a general outpatient clinic. We serve dancers, performing artists, and gymnasts who have high expectations of their bodies and deserve care from providers who understand those expectations. Everyone we hire reflects that standard.

We are currently hiring in the following areas:

Physical Therapists (PT, DPT) Licensed in the state of Texas. Experience with orthopedic, sports, or performing arts populations preferred. A background in dance or the performing arts is a meaningful asset.

Massage Therapists (LMT) Texas state license required. Experience in sports massage, clinical massage, or deep tissue work preferred. Comfort working in a PT-led, interdisciplinary clinic environment; our massage therapists collaborate closely with the PT team on shared clients.

Registered Dietitians (RD, RDN) State licensure and RD credential required. Experience with sports nutrition, performance nutrition, or youth athlete populations is highly relevant to our patient base. Our clinic serves a high volume of competitive dancers and young performing artists; understanding the nutritional demands of that population is essential.

Licensed Counselors Texas state licensure required (LPC, LCSW, or equivalent). Experience with performing artists, athletes, or the clinical dimensions of performance anxiety, body image, or identity in high-achieving populations would be a strong fit for Bravo's client community.

What We Do Not Offer

A Note on Scope and Licensing

Bravo is a licensed practice. All practitioners who provide direct client care at Bravo hold an active medical or clinical license in the state of Texas. We do not hire unlicensed wellness practitioners for client-facing roles, regardless of certification, training background, or specialty.

If your background falls outside the licensed clinical scope above and you believe there may be another way to contribute to what Bravo is building, you are welcome to reach out.

What It's Like to Work at Bravo

A Center Built Around Innovation

Bravo was founded in 2021 by Dr. Julia Buckelew, PT, DPT, OCS, on the belief that performing artists deserve access to clinicians who truly understand their world. The team she has built reflects that: a group of licensed clinicians who bring clinical expertise and, in many cases, lived experience as performers.

Dr. Travis Morrison, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, danced professionally with Colorado Ballet and City Ballet San Diego. Dr. Joshua Ramos, PT, DPT, is a performing arts high school alumnus with a background in concert violin and vocal performance. Taylor Morrison, MS, RDN, CSSD, LD, is a board-certified sports dietitian and owner of Taylored Nutrition, LLC, who brings 8 years of sports medicine nutrition experience to the youth athlete population Bravo serves.

This is a clinic where interdisciplinary collaboration is real, not a marketing term. Your patients will often share care across PT, nutrition, and wellness. The team talks. The work is meaningful.

Bravo operates across two locations in the DFW area: Frisco Square (primary) and Dallas Preston Center (satellite). Virtual and telehealth services are also an active and growing part of the practice.

Internship Opportunities

Working With Bravo as a Student or Emerging Clinician

Bravo is open to internship arrangements for students who are a strong fit for our Center. Internship opportunities are evaluated individually and are not guaranteed. If you are interested in an internship at Bravo, please submit an inquiry to julia@bravophysio.com and describe your background, your interest in performing arts populations, and what you are hoping to gain from the experience.

Please note: Bravo does not offer PT school clinical rotations. Internship inquiries are separate from clinical rotation requests and are evaluated on a different basis.
