Your dancer is at a summer intensive in New York. Or at a competition weekend in Houston. Or stuck in a stretch between appointments with pain that is getting worse, not better. Distance should not mean a gap in her care. Bravo's tele-wellness sessions bring the same dance medicine expertise — the same providers, the same clinical approach, the same quality of care — directly to your dancer wherever she is. All she needs is a phone or laptop and enough space to move.
Tele-wellness is especially valuable for dancers at summer intensives. Intensives are the highest-risk window of the year — new choreography, longer hours, unfamiliar floors, and no recovery days. Having a provider check in virtually every week or two keeps small problems from becoming missed-intensive problems.
What Tele-Wellness Sessions Can Address
• Injury check-ins and progress monitoring for existing clients
• Pain management and flare-up guidance — what to do, what to avoid, when to stop
• Movement coaching and corrective exercise — your provider watches, cues, and adjusts in real time
• Warm-up and cool-down programming for intensive or competition schedules
• Nutrition counseling and fueling support during high-demand periods
• Return-to-dance planning after illness or rest periods
Who Tele-Wellness Is For

Traveling performers Competing or performing away from DFW? Tele-wellness keeps your care consistent no matter where you are.
Busy season scheduling When studio hours, school, and life make in-person visits impossible — virtual sessions ensure your dancer does not lose her momentum.
Out-of-area clients Dancers outside DFW who want access to specialized dance medicine care without relocating can establish virtual care with the Bravo team.
Post-intensive recovery Just returned from summer? A virtual follow-up helps us assess how your body held up and what needs attention before the new season begins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is tele-wellness as effective as in-person care? For many types of issues — particularly movement coaching, corrective exercise, injury check-ins, and programming — virtual sessions are highly effective. For hands-on manual therapy or dry needling, you will need an in-person visit. We will always be honest about when virtual is sufficient and when in-person is necessary.
Is tele-wellness covered by insurance? We are a private-pay practice. Tele-wellness sessions are offered at our standard wellness session rates. A Superbill can only be provided for virtual PT sessions for out-of-network reimbursement. Wellness sessions do not have diagnosis codes and therefore are not eligible for Superbills.
Can I start with tele-wellness if I have never been to Bravo? Yes.
